With a voice that's soon to conquer the international music scene, Rachelle Ann Go's 2007 could be her best year ever. Coming up with her third album entitled "Obsession" under Viva Records in a few weeks, this may be her biggest career break so far.

Rachelle Ann Go was the winner of Search for a Star, a reality show hosted by Regine Velasquez. The first season of the show (then called Star for a Night) brought us Sarah Geronimo, now one of the country's hottest singers. A year or so later, Rachelle Ann followed Sarah in the quick route to victory and stardom.

Like most young female singers today, Rachelle Ann is equipped with lung-busting pipes that could undoubtedly hit overwhelmingly high notes. That and her angelic personality attracted so many fans, making her one of ASAP's lead artists. In fact, by the end of 2006, Go won as Pop Female Artist in the ASAP Pop Viewers' Choice Awards, proof of the ceaseless support from Shin's (her nickname) solid fanbase.

In the 2-year span of Shin's career, she has already recorded two major albums, held numerous successful concerts locally and internationally, and brought home the Philippines' pride twice when she won a silver medal in the Shanghai Song Festival in China, followed by a 2nd prize in the Astana Song Festival held in Kazakhstan. Rachelle Ann Go is truly a great addition to the talented singers of our country today.

With the start of 2007 comes a new breakthrough for Rachelle Ann's career. Set to launch her biggest album ever entitled "Obsession," Rachelle Ann will attempt to pierce through the international music scene. Like her second album, "I Care," this album is produced by Christian de Walden, a great producer and music authority. Shin is also set to do a Valentine concert with her boyfriend and co-champion, Christian Bautista, entitled "You and Me," which may later be brought to the United States as part of a concert tour.

Things are definitely going great for this champion and hit-maker. Hopefully, with the launch of her third album comes even more breaks for her, possibly diving into the world of acting like her co-champion, Sarah Geronimo. Also, let's wish for the best as Rachelle Ann launches her international singing career. Go for gold (or platinum), Shin!
